Keeping up on the bLoG

Ok, I had four months and ten events to add on here. It was tiring!!! I really need to keep up on this. There is two pages of updates. I still have Bella's 8 month pics to add when I get them and our two year anniversary is coming up in a 1 1/2 weeks ....I'm challenging me to do better and add those events in a timely fashion :)

Aries 12-31-99 to 08-22-09

Unfortunately we had to put our dog Aries down this last Saturday. He was going to be 10 in December and was going downhill really fast. Lost a ton of weight and didn't want to eat (which was a huge sign something was wrong for Aries) going blind walking into walls, falling down the stairs. The list goes on. It was the most terrible sad thing to do. We all decided we wanted to be with him till the end. He was such a good and protective dog and will never be able to replace him and I think there won't be another dog that will be so good. Bella was the lucky one who didn't understand what was really going on. They say it takes 30 seconds after the injection, Aries was gone in about 10 seconds. He left HUGE paws to fill. We love you Aries.

1st day back to school 08/2009

I love taking the first day school pics. The kids are always sooo different by the time the school year ends. They grow so much. Here is the latest. Drake is a middle schooler now SIGH, Alex is in 4th grade and Becca and Isaac are now 2nd graders. Two different schools with two different schedules. And it now begins..

7 mo Bella and Her cousin Porter

Porter and his Mommy were able to be at the kids birthday party. It was great to have the two baby cousins together. Bella didn't like her Daddy holding another baby but didn't care if I did...HMMMMMM. I don't know if Porter was liking the dominant chica thing, but it was cute to watch. Bella also turned 7 months in July. She is finally in size 2 diapers.

Becca and Isaac turn 7!!!

Isaac and Becca had a crazy chaotic birthday party AGAIN. I swore last year I wouldn't do "that" again...I did and next year they get baptized so it will be crazy and chaotic again, I'm sure. Becca lost her 2 front teeth both on her birthday.

Fathers Day 2009 and Park pics

Phillip is a wonderful Dad. He deserves so much. Phillip went to the park with the kids and his step dad Gordon.

Bella 6 months

Bella is growing so fast. At her check up she was 14 1/2 pounds (25%) and 27 1/2 inches (90%) She is such a joy to our family.Rachael took awesome pics as usual and you will be able to tell which ones I took. Bella got her ears pierced on her 6 mo bday too. She doesn't love them as much as I do yet.

Estes Park June 2009

We went to Estes Park in June and it was beautiful. We all had so much fun. We rode the Ariel trams and fed the chipmunks saw lots of Elk and visited the Stanley Hotel. We all voted to go back soon for a family vacation. It is close enough to home but far enough away to vacation. I can't wait to go back.

Drake's 5th grade graduation

Drake was so cute at his graduation. He even gave a "speech". He is growing up so fast.

Bella 5 Mo and my 32 Birthday

Lots of catching up to do. Bella turned 5 months old on my 32 birthday this year. It was a good day.

Well I was all ready to update my blog when I realized all the pics didn't come off the camera. I will try again later.

Spring Break 09

OK so dang it, I forgot to add pics from spring break, so now I am out of order...IF you know me you know that will drive me crazy but I don't want to not post them. We were supposed to go to the Royal Gorge, but got hit by our HUGE snow storm. So instead we followed Danielles family to Alamosa where they have an indoor waterpark place at a hotel. The kids loved it and we got away for two days, so it worked out ok. Bella had the cutest bathing suit and loved the water.

Isabella 4 months

At Isabella's 4 mo check up she was
12 pounds 10 ounces (30th percentile)
25 inches long (80th percentile)

Bella is such a fun baby. The kids are so sweet with her and LOVE to play with her. They LOVE to see what her poopy diapers look like and laugh when she spits up or drools. I wonder how long they'll think that is cool for! I'm glad she has four great examples ahead of her. She definitely is like her Momma!! She has a mind of her own and does what she wants, when she wants. VERY Independant, but will accept some help. It is very busy but fun around here, well fun most of the time.

Coloring Eggs/Easter 09

I don't like he smell of vinegar but of course have to deal with it anyway for easter eggs. The kids love it and Bella had one colored egg too. Man do we have a lot of kids, It isn't cheap to have the easter bunny fill 5 easter baskets!! The whole family and then some went to Danielle's house for dinner and we all had a great time. Thanks Danielle for being such a good hostess :)~ It was also Phillips Bday this year ON Easter so that was cool too. It was Skip's (Jill's husband) bday the next day so I got a cake for both and they LOVED being next to each other while we sang Happy Birthday to them together!

Becca's 1st grade Play

I'm only a little behind since this was on 3/19/09. Since I've been up since 5:30a (not because of Bella actually) and can't sleep I am updating the blog. Becca's school play was It's a Jungle Out There. I have no idea what happened to the video I took of it on my camera....She was a zebra and looked adorable, even if it was about 4 sizes too small :)

Isabella 3 months

Ok since Bella is going to be 4 months on Monday I better hurry and post her 3 month pics now :) I've been bad keeping up and now that I'm back at work I will probably be even worse....Sorry.

Isabella 2 months old!

Bella turned 2 months on Feb 19! She had her first shots the next day and her checkup appt. She was 10 lbs 5 oz and 23 1/2 inches long!

Bella, Isaac and Drake's 11th Bday

OK I know I have been bad not keeping up the last month and a half, but I FINALLY got my pictures on the laptop...so here is more Bella, Isaac's school play and Drakes 11th birthday pics. Things have been busy and wonderful. Gma Debbie is making Bella laugh on Valentines day..Dad is shaking the bed and Bella loves it, Isaac's school play video and Drake turned 11 on Feb 26. We went to Zio's for dinner with 21 of us and bowling and cake and Mr Biggs after. He said it was a great birthday and had lots of fun. I will make sure to add pics from the bdays this year. First Grade school play for Isaac. He was the mighty spelling mind super hereo. He is so cute.

Bella 1 Month Birthday

We are only doing a cake for this 1st month. The kids really enjoyed it and Isabella too ;) It only keeps getting better from here.
